DMH Wasabi has had a rough start in life. She arrived with a belly full of worms and battled ringworm and a terrible case of cat flu. Despite everything, this little girl has come through it all with so much spirit.

Mummy’s girl Wasabi starts purring the moment she spots her across the room, and once that purr starts, it just keeps going! She loves a lot of attention, following you everywhere, and standing tall against you for a big stretch. She can be shy with strangers and that first hiss is just for show, but once she knows you, she is incredibly affectionate. Wasabi is super playful and loves feline company, often cuddling up with her foster friends for naps.

She needs a patient family who will give her time to settle and trust at her own pace. Other cats are fine and older kids are best. She will reward any patient new family 1000 times over!

We are a registered charity run by volunteers in our spare time. Our animals are fostered in different foster homes across Auckland and we require you to meet the animal in their foster home before deciding to go ahead with adoption. We deal with adoption applications in writing and appreciate your patience when messaging about your interest.
