Miniature Schnauzer
8 weeks old
With a Miniature Schnauzer in the house, you will never be alone, not even when you go to the bathroom. They’ve got personality-plus, and whether they’re bounding around ahead of you or curled up snoozing on your lap, you’ll never be bored.
We are Free Range Pooches NZ a dedicated mother-and-daughter team with 18 years of experience breeding Miniature Schnauzers. While we each have our own breeding programs, we work closely to ensure our puppies receive the best care possible.
Michelle, a former vet nurse with 18 years of experience, brings her expertise to our breeding practices.
We do our best to raise healthy, happy puppies.
Our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing, including full DNA profiling, heart and patella certifications & eye certificates done by a reg ophthalmologist.
Sadly, some health issues in Miniature Schnauzers are becoming more common in New Zealand as some breeders are not testing before breeding.
Parents must have had eye exams and DNA tests for conditions like PRA-B1 (EARLY BLINDNESS), Factor VII Deficiency, Myotonia Congenita, and Charcot Marie Tooth Syndrome.
DNA testing helps prevents inherited problems and ensures healthier pets.
